Schedule: Full-Time Monday thru Friday daytime hours
Pay: Based on experience
Living with Purpose is seeking compassionate and reliable Day Program Staff to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral needs in our Empower Day Program. This role focuses on promoting independence, skill development, community engagement, and personal growth in a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment using ABA-informed practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care, supervision, and support to participants during program hours
- Assist with transportation and accompany participants on community outings
- Facilitate individual and group activities that promote life skills, social development, recreation, and community inclusion
- Implement Person-Centered Service Plans (PCSPs) and Behavior Service Plans (BSPs)
- Collect and document both day program data & ABA data, progress notes, and incident reports per agency and state guidelines
- Support personal care needs as required, including hygiene, mobility, and meals
- Administer medications and medical treatments accurately and on time
- Monitor participant health and safety and report concerns to supervisors
- Promote self-determination, independence, and positive social interaction
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and families
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming program environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual, developmental, or behavioral disabilities preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Patient, dependable, and committed to person-centered care
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and Class E license required (personal vehicle use may be required)
- Must pass background checks
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to assist individuals with mobility and participate in active programming

Pay: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour based on experience
